Feminism - the radical idea that women are people - has reshaped the world we live in for the better. So too, it has reshaped what is (was?) arguably the most patriarchial of institutions - Rabbinic Judaism.
Join us for an exploration of where Jewish Feminism has been, where it is and where we might be going.
We'll be looking at texts from Judith Plaskow's Standing Again at Sinai, Danya Ruttenberg's Yentl's Revenge and more.
This class will meet on the following Sunday mornings: March 17th, 24th and 31st, April 7th, 14th and 28th, and May 5th and 19th. Please see the calendar here for more details.
